Pantteri Street 8Crew is a Facebook Canvas app that serves one main purpose: being a full-fletched sketching tool while still maintaining simplicity, ease-of-use and plenty of fun factor. And plenty of Facebook integration, too.

When Fazer was set to launch a new Pantteri licorice product, Hasan & Partners – Fazer’s advertising agency – called us and wanted us to build a Facebook campaign involving an app that would enable users to sketch their own graffiti. The core concept was that the best and brightest ideas would be picked out by actual artists who would eventually paint real graffitis around Finland, inspired by our community of virtual Banksys. This sounded like so much fun that we jumped aboard immediately.

We really concentrated on creating the most realistic, street credible set of virtual pens that would allow users to execute their vision with stunning results. In the end, we really feel we pulled it off, judging by all the really impressive sketches made by some of our users. But don’t take our word for it – go see them yourselves.

The app also features Facebook sharing with custom share images, Facebook Comments -plugins for each image, image saving, deep linking and a variety of other cool features. During the course of the campaign, users could unlock new colors by entering codes found on bags of Pantteri candy as well as win actual prizes.
